The long wait has come to an end and the company has finally introduced Chromecast option on the VLC 3.0 app. The VideoLAN team has improved the media watching experience by adding support for hardware decoding on all platforms for HD and UHD resolutions with H.264 and H.265 media codes and direct HDR support for Windows 10 machines. VLC 3.0 comes with support for HDR and brings the new 360-degree video support that was previously seen on the technical preview. VideoLAN, the company behind the famous VLC media player has release an update that brings the app version of the VLC media player to 3.0 and it is now available for a list of mobile and desktop platforms including Windows (ARM, x86 and 圆4), macOS, Linux iOS, Android TV, Apple TV, Chrome and Android.
